What can be used instead of from the manufacturer SIP TAPE. I have a SIP HOUSE built over 20 years ago before sip tape was recomended. Seems like tape applied to the roof seams would be a good idea even at this point. Local box stores carry Nashua Select butyl and Grace Vycor Plus. Should the tape be butyl or asphalt based since it is on the interior of the attic? Thanks in advance for any input

If your house is over 20 years old, and you have no problems, why bother??
Especially on the inside. Seems that would just conceal any future problems that might arise.
