Hi!
We are building a house with magnesium oxide boards (MgO), this material is relatively new here and I am seeking more information about its installation. The outer walls of the building consist of EPS boards on which we are to install the MgO boards (gluing the boards to the EPS). I read about the possibility of cracks and I would like to know how can I avoid the risk - taking in mind that the temperatures here are from -15C to +38C - are there any precautions which I may take at the installation of the MgO boards? I know about leaving 4-10mm joints between the boards, I also heard about filling these joints with strips of MgO boards - do you have any information about it? Or do you know any sources of information for installation of MgO boards? All information would be highly appreciated!
Best regards! :)
