I was wondering what others have used for sealing the joints in metal SIP roof panels. I'm putting butyl caulk in all my joints but was thinking about putting a SIP tape over the joints (to prevent any sitting water). I will eventually be putting on a peel and stick underlayment and standing seam roof panels.

You can use vinyl backed butyl tape see last 3 pages of this PDF see llink

yes they produce some proprietary extrusions for us, you will need to go to the E.Lake Mary Blvd. location

Chris, Do you know Florida Extruder's name for the product (tape/sealant)? The person I spoke to didn't think they make anything like that anymore.
