Hello. We are seeking suppliers of SIPs for a 6,500 m2 (66,000 sq. ft) premium green residential project we are launching in India. Please see our requirements document available at http://www.tanishka-developers.com/documents/EG/TanishkaBuilders-EG-Materials-RequestForInformation-01.pdf as a download. We are seeking additional information from potential suppliers. We have very specific requirements, but our goal is to have an overall balanced design, therefore we are very willing to be flexible. So even though we are seeking PU core SIPs, we are open to EPS core SIPs. My contact information is given in requirements document. Samir Mishra

Hi Samir,

We supply PU cored, MgO skinned SIP panels frpm China. They are green building materials.

MgO board is made of MgO (mined and caustic calcined ), MgCl2 (retrieved from sea water) mixed mortar with additives like perlite, wood dust and fly ash, etc, and reinforced by fiberglass mesh and non-woven cloth. It has the features of light weight, high intensity, little contraction, fire resistance, and resistance to mold and mildew. One of the breakthroughs is SIP panels, with PU/EPS/XPS as the core and MgO boards as the faces. These panels are ready to be linked on the site to make SIP houses, typical of fire resistance, light weight, good insulation, good impact strength, and a long life span. With acrylic paint or UV resistant coating, MgO faces can be used as external walls without any vapor barrier, as MgO boards work well in damp places (but we need to increase the density from 0.9kg to1.2kg). We can provide MSDS report for the MgO board we supply. It is formaldehyde and asbestos free, a very safe product.

If you are interested, please feel free to contact me.

Best regards,

Sam Shan

Dear Samir Mishra, we are a Canadian design/build company specializing in hybrid SIP systems which are manufactured locally close to your building site. The savings in shipping costs alone is tremendous. Your post is a few months old...have you found a supplier? If not, please contact me directly.
Regards,
Larry S.
