foundation with groove design

hi, need input on this. here the thing.. i saw mostly SIPs panels using bottom plate to attach the panel to the foundation. but if we prepare the foundation with the groove design, the panels can just be slot it.
The problem lies in first the groove must be always be within the depth and length so that the panels can be slot it. Another one, if it rain, the water might go it (flashing perhaps to prevent water penetration?)? Anything perhaps to improve this system? thanks!

unless SIPs have been tested for below grade foundations, I think it is a bad Idea

nor,

I will assume you have wood SIPs in mind. Ledges or troughs in the edge of a foundation that could collect moisture should be avoided. Wood SIPs should be kept high and dry. Also the inner and outer skin should be evenly supported to develope full load capability.
