All depends on the SIP manufacturer. Some are Miami Dade County tested while others are not.

Banerpan, hurricane zones vary greatly
SIP structures need to be site specific engineered to your specific wind zone, there is no "one size fits all" for hurricane regions

Span and load charts are available , but a professional is needed to properly size the panel thickness and spans according to the imposed wind loads that vary greatly in Hurricane wind zones in our area from 110 to 180 mph

Thanks Chris and Lbear for your speedy answer,

I understand that we need to test the panels for the specific Wind load of the area you build, but has there been tested made by a laboratory to establish a chart of basic capacity or specific construction détails to be use with SIP's in Hurricane area.

If so, where could we find it, or who did it.

Just like the engineering behind Gravity Load Path, you should probably be seeing engineering that will have extensive hold-downs from earth-to-top. I've seen this accomplished many ways including an primitive version all-thread though the panel (in a wall) and other ingenious ways to hold it all together. ENGINEERING IS A MUST with someone EXPERIENCED IN THIS AREA.

There is commercial manufacture of solutions that will likely work but have ENGINEERING spec type and placement.

It ALL needs to act as a system (that is, IN CONCERT)

There is no "one-size fits all" panel testing that covers a wide range of SIPs. Each manufacturer does their own testing. So unfortunately what you are looking for is not available. You will have to specifically contact each SIP manufacturer you are looking to use and get the data from them. Some will have the testing data, others will not.

What is out there is a "Prescriptive Method" that is a general overview on how to attach SIPs and some general wind load and seismic info. Remember, these are general guidelines and a lot depends on the SIP manufacturer, core type (EPS I, EPS II, Polyurethane) install location, local codes, etc. With that being said you will find that the Prescriptive Methods shows a maximum seismic zone "C" and maximum wind loads are around 130mph (3-second burst).

what your engineer should need is not in the "prescriptive " method , each manufacturer's testing will be different.,
therefore, different span / load capabilities, rack & shear values.
those are available to professionals in the industry, but in the wrong hands could be mis interpreted.
if you read the prescriptive method it has limitations on length , width and height of buildings and only useful up to 130 mph wind zones
an engineer is needed and should obtain the test data specific to your manufacturer, data from manufacturer ABC is not applicable to manufacterer XYZ
