I am in San Diego county and wanting to begin my tiny house build. For a number of reason I chose sips! I am finding it difficult to find a company who will take on a project that is only 170 square feet! It seems like there are a few distributors in this area but they get their supplies from the central coast area, so I'm still paying a huge shipping fee in addition to whatever their cut is. Is anyone familiar with a local San Diego county sips company? I would even be willing to travel to Los Angeles to pick up my own sips but a few out there have just denied my quote after sending in my blueprints. Frustrated ! Any input would be greatly appreciated!

You may have an easier time getting SIPs if you buy the raw panels and cut them to size yourself.

I don't think you will find any precut SIP companies to do your job, its just too small. You may need to go outside California for the raw SIPs too and have them shipped common carrier, we have gotten a dozen or so inquiries about "tiny house" designs they never develop into an order, usually because of distance and shipping costs
