may be building a retirement house in coastal florida. Have a plan I like in OSB sip but can't see using that in FL. Is there any trick to non-90degree corners? Thanks in advance for replies

geruta,
you can make any angle you want, by applying break metal to the outside and inside skins

Thanks Chris. Not sure what you mean by break metal, but sounds like a site-built adaptation, does this make the panel-to-panel joint weaker than the factory joint? does it create a gap that needs to be foamed? Thanks again.

geruta,
The factory makes the break metal to match the angle that you want the walls to be, the actual panel cuts are done in the field and then stiched together with the angled metal, an expansion foam is used to close the gap
There are no factories manufacturing "pre-Made" angled corners, it is a field made corner,

geruta, brake metal is simply sheet metal that has been bent. It is very common and all angles are possible. Any steel SIP project (regardless of angles) will employ brake metal, and the joint will not be any weaker.

OK got it. so even the standard 90deg corners would get the same treatment. the factory seams are in the straight section between adjacent panels only. The brake metal is then attached to the SIPs with screws I presume... Thanks!

The bent metal is attached with stitch screws (short screws through one skin) at a fairly close interval.
