On a recent trip this week took this photo of the fire station

according to the locals here it survived hurricane Matthew last year with no damage and gusts up to 130

No its not an issue , they were ordered the same time the interior doors were ordered for a 28 unit workforce housing with 3" SIP walls
any supplier is more than happy to make 60 prehung doors with 3-1/8" jambs

as a builder I ordered non-standard jambs many times especially for remodeling jobs
