you seem to know more about sips than anyone on this forum...and I realize you do not sell this brand, but what do you know about Thermasteel sips?  Looking for the most economical way to build a 4500 sq ft house...and they came in at a good price.  Any opinion would be appreciated if you know anything about the product.    I had others that were lower, but I need my windows/ electrical chases cut out.  Thank you in advance.  I live in the Savannah, GA area.

Thermasteel is not a SIP , they even acknowledge on their website that they are "an alternative" .
They are a prefabricated wall panel system steel and foam.,
you will need to sheath the exterior walls and roof in addition to the initial cost, you will also need to add fascia and soffit, and a vapor barrier to their system.
There are two "true steel SIP" manufacturers in Georgia between you and Atlanta. Unfortunately neither one will do window and door cut outs, but both are easier to install than Thermasteel

Thermasteel is an IMP or Insulated Metal Panel.

Yes, Thermasteel is Economical, but when you consider the overall build cost it falls short.

Generally, Economical, as it relates to construction, usually results in just meeting code. Code is the minimum standard for quality, safety and security, etc.

it's been months now, but I may have a solution to your problem.
I'm involved with yachts and boats,most boats have balsa cores,and many of the older ones develop leaks and soak the cores which is bad. They can solve the problem by attaching ' vacuum plates to the outer skin of the hull,drill holes,and leave it on there for days to get the moisture out.
