Looking for ICF builders I ran across a product I've never seen. Would like to know more about it if anyone has any information. It's a 10' tall x 4' wide panel consisting of fiber cement board, cement core, fiber cement board, insulation and then a third layer of fiber cement board. Fits together tongue and groove. Comes with 4" or 6" spacers for the poured concrete core. Any experience with this or have a name and manufacturer?

You can do the same thing with a standard icf

You take a standard icf and glue it together. You use silicone caulk to cement the blocks together. We buy by the bucket at Silicone Depot. It works better than on component foam. We cut a channel in each end after the blocks dry. We put the blocks together by putting screws in the ties and using wire ties to pull the blocks together. After all the walls are up we foam the channels making a spline. Fab-Form bracing does the trick with it's horizontal whaler. Easy. No standing cutting blocks on the job. Al walls are put together in my warehouse and transported to job for assembly like a SIP. Saves a ton of labor cost.

Another thing we do is shoot for zero waste. Icfs are expensive so every piece goes into the build. I mean every piece. We started by building our own window bucks out of scrap. Using lumber was always problematic. We don't even take a garbage bag worth of scrap from the job. It's easy if you think about it. We started by doing a mono pour for footings walls and floor. It really saves a ton of labor.

I'm not looking to build panels. I've seen the panels. I'm impressed with the way they go together and are finished. I want to know if they have a name or if someone knows who makes them. All the builder said was they're used in areas with typhoons and tsunamis.
