I'm no slouch online but boy, I surely cannot figure out how to unsubscribe from Green Building Talk. Would appreciate directions.

Go to the forum you are subscribed to, and uncheck the "You are subscribed to this forum. Click to unsubscribe" box at the top left corner. If you want to unsubscribe to a particular topic, open that topic thread and uncheck the "You are subscribed to this topic" box at the top left corner.

Ditto for me! I have unchecked the notify me box dozens of times and I still get 30 or so emails a day. On the "My subscriptions" page there are two lines showing nothing is subscrbed to, yet I still get the mail. Have considered checking it for a day or so, then unchecking again? With the way this is going I'd start getting 90 E-mails a day.. HELP, Jamie Something is wrong! It also shows me as a new member with only three post. That's not correct!

Melinda and Glenn,

To unsubscribe, click on "My Profile" and then click on "Forum Subscriptions".  Now you should see the following: "Subscriptions", "Subject", and "Forum Name".  Delete each posting under these headings.

Then the next time you post to any of these forums, be sure to un-check "Check this if you would like to be notified when someone replies".

Jamie, I think it would be better for most of us if the default was "Un-checked" instead of us having to remember to un-check before submitting.

I, too, am getting too many emails a day. I have not been able to stop them. There is no unsubscribe and no listing of forums I am subscribed to that I can delete. Nor has checking and unchecking that box to follow a thread done anything. Something needs to be done to correct this. Either that, or let me know who to stop being a member. Thanks.

Go to Forum->MyProfile->ForumTracking (Click on the Email icon under Tracking. No Check = No Subscription). You can also click the check box on top of each topic page next to "You are subscribed to this topic.".
