The problems I have read on this forum about WaterFurnace seem to be universal. For six years I tried to work with WF on getting my units running properly, but they refused to give any assistance. For four years, I begged them to send someone to help resolve the issues with these units. We have had problems with the two Premier E series two speed units since they were installed. Each time the units quit the dealer would come out and patch the units when the replacement parts he would have to order from WF would arrive. This would mean we were without heating or coolong for a few days, to a few weeks to more rencently 18 months and counting. Sometimes I feel like they are waiting for the warranty to expire, so they can recoup the money they have spent replacing defective parts. It's either get the parts from them or change out the units. The units with installation cost were approximately $38,000.00 so scraping them is not an option.

We are now in a long drawn out court case over these units and what I feel are CRIMINAL ACTIONS committed by WF and their employees. We have a pre-trial hearing Feb 24, 2010 and have a trial date of March 1, 2010. Based on testimony and the evidence we have, I feel we will prevail in the matter.

I have gained a great deal of experience and information concerning the problems consumers have with WF, and I will be happy to make this available to anyone is forced to go to court to get WF to do the right thing. email - [email protected]

If WF is a party in litigation I wouldn't expect any public comment.

I wouldn't expect WFI to comment on something in court. Nor do I get the comment about "criminal actions by WFI and their employees". There is not even a substaniated complaint in the above.
Larger point is there are a number of other disgruntled owners in this thread.
Can't say WFI will heed my suggestion, but I thought I'd pull some highlights in case they took a peek.
