I'm sorry I did not mention that. The manifold will be inside the house.

Since the manifold is inside the house, you can put all of the supply lines in one group as close together as you want. Then the return the return lines can be grouped together as well. If you can separate the supply and return lines by a foot or two it would help but is not mandatory.

My Contractor is wanting each supply line to be spaced 10" and each return spaced 10" and seperate the supply and return by about a foot. Spacing the supply and return by a foot or more is know problem. But I do not have enough wall space to keep each supply seperated by 10" and the same for the return. I only have about block to block and a half space to bring them in thru. Now I have 8' walls in the basement but about 2' is exposed above ground. So that only lets me with around 5' left and to be below frost level which is around 30" here that only lets me with no more than 30" down to my floor . And there is pipes down close to the floor so I loose another 10" .So I have an issue. I do not know if he was buying manifolds already made up or not. I have not got a chance to talk to him about this yet but I do remember telling him this when he gave me an estimate. I was hopeing to get some input first. Would it be possible to use some insulation on the pipe outside the foundation for few feet to protect it from freezing so I could put it through my foundation above freezing level. If not I will only be able to space them between 2 -4" apart. Which I do not see as a problem if he makes the manifold his self.

Hard to say what the contractor has in mind.

10" is a lot, if he builds the manifold on site, 6" should be enough.

Insulating the pipes that are closer to the top is an option

Thanks ,not really sure yet what he is thinking. I still have not talked to him but I know I do not have enough wall space to do 10". I may be able to do 6" if I use insulation like I mentioned earlier for the pipes above the frost line.

First Slinkey is in the ground and I have another ???? Should I put a layer of soil between the slinkey and the return before I loop it back to the house?

There is no real need to do this, but you can if you want.

Thanks Dean I really appericate all your help!!  The only reason I asked was I know you want to keep the feed and return thru the wall seperated so I was thinking I would want to do the same out in the ditch. But if there is no need to do thi I will not waste the time
