best way to insulate unvented attic

As long as the spaces on both sides of the wall are heated living space, you don't need to insulate. But it's still worth air-sealing that wall.

yes space on both size is heated. What do you recommend best way to seal the wall if not using foam?

Dana1, I found AirTight CC Closed-Cell Spray Foam Insulation ICC ESR-262 by Lapolla. It's 1.98 perm @ 1". Is this an ideal CC foam for me to put up 2" on the brick wall? Thanks, Zygote

That stuff would test out at about 1 perm at 2", which would work in all of your foam applications (even around where structural timbers penetrate the brick.)
