Bruce: ok

not that i care to work abit on those,
since installing the actual pavers is no hurry ...

found a few diff basic pedestals ..trying to find one that is rubber for confort walking
maybe epdm

where should i look for paver prices..the tiles themselves ?

cause 22$ as stated by Rich ..for 4sq.ft
is way out of my budget ...
that makes around 8500$ only for the pavers

i can do alot better than that with concrete solution ..just need to find the correct underlayment for draining

I am building a house presently which has 3 decks. I am contemplating a concrete faced insulated panel which I have use dcommercially as protection board for backfilling structures. A roofer told me it's also used on rooftops for access to hvac units etc over the roof system. Try www.tclear.com It's about $40/2x4 panel 2" thick with lap joint edges. Roofing supply distributors should carry it.

that product has a very very thin concrete layer on it ..
you would like to walk on it ?

i sure hope they have some dopped carbon nano tubes in mesh inside those,
so it'll work for your situation !

maybe with some other solid product over it, but i am sure that if you apply a non balanced weight on
this structure, the concrete will crack pretty quicly, even if reinforced with some fiber mesh
unless they use some secrete sauce , and alot of latex ...
the foam sure helps the tension so it doesn't bend as much ...but concrete doesn't flex much you know!

received answers from a high quality product manufacturer today

EPDM PEDESTALS @ 1.25$USD /unit

2'by2' uncolored diamond pattern 1.75" thick concrete pavers @ 10$/unit

any place where i could buy moulds to make pavers?
or material to make molds?

First off, you should clean and inspect the gutters for any leakage or damage. Next you should inspect your drain slope; water should be draining away from the house for at least 48”. Standing water near the house can cause foundation damage. You should additionally inspect drainpipes for any leakage.Otherwise you can contact with professional waterproofers.

I have been reading this thread with interest because I'm building a 450 sf deck over a flat garage roof. My layup is AAC panels on steel beams; sufficient poured concrete to create drainage; EPDM; a wood deck carried on sleepers. My worry is how to keep leaves out of the scuppers. I am required to build filter and infiltration trenches so there is no ignoring it. I really don't have an answer except to place the deck boards as tight as possible, install fascia boards around the perimeter and build access to screens over the scuppers. Even then I'll need regular turns with a leaf blower. Anything else I should be doing?
