Sorry about that, didn't mean to swamp you with tech details. Wish I had more time right now to help clear things up for you but I've got to go mow the lawn and get ready to go early tomorrow for our annual brothers & nephews camp out and ATV outing in the Idaho mountains. In the mean time go to the Mitsubishi web site and to Daikinac.com and see if you can't glean enough info to get unlost! Focus on mini split residential. Come back with questions and if someone else hasn't answered them by next week I'll give'em  shot then. If you happen to not know what COP is wiki can probably clear it up for you. Just search on COP and heat pump.



Even a retired engineer can build a house successfully w/ GBT help!

Sorry don't mean to imply That I have experience with Daikin as they are not used much in my area. mitsubishi, Sanyo, EMI, and carrier. And no newer units are almost impossible to hack without an EE.
