You don't have to excavate any differently than any other job. The advantage of the Zuckles is that they can be installed on the very top of the upright supports and can work in a horizontal position if need be. Most if not all stong back supports attach under the walk plank bracket. Actually with your question about which side to brace, the outside is the best. Concrete wants to push out, the corners especially. As I said using the Zuckles allowed for the addition of the floor to my pono pour system. Joey Fearn are you listening. Christmas is coming.

When you pour the footer, slab and wall all in one, how high do you pour? I am thinking we will need 6' to be above grade and 12' to be above the next level trusses

I've done 8 courses which is 10.66 ft. So your doing 18' total wall? I'd split it in half for each pour.

We are probably going 2 stories above grade, wanted 10', 10', 8'
