Hello, I was wondering if anybody has experience with ordering radiant heating packages from the US for delivery in Canada (Quebec). Or knows of any canadian companies that carry the same service. Basically I am looking for a company that can design the layout, assemble the package, ship them while I would do the installation. I have not located any companies in Canada itself. Tx

I think you would be better off having the system designed by one person and than order the parts from the best suppliers.

The reason for this is as follows. The predesigned package suppliers systems may not be what is best for your home. They cater to the lowest common denominator and your home may not be that.
Sometimes you are better off being able to pick the components that work for you not for their system.

Jmagill,
You paint with a broad brush,
We supply pre-design systems all over the country. We design with condensing boilers, conventional boilers, electric, High and low Velocity air systems. We avoid open loop like the plague they are. We try to take a look at client needs, ability and what they are trying to accomplish. While I agree there are some garbage proposals out there, this not the case with my or some of the other company's out there.

My broad brush is my opinion. I don't have anything to sell. "Sometimes you are better off being able to pick the components that work for you not for their system" Notice I said sometimes!

Not to hijack this thread, but have you found it to be economical to ship tubing and parts across the border?

I'm in Vancouver, BC, just north of the Blueridge company. Dan, I'd be interested in having you quote on a complete house package for a 3000 sqft build we're working on. COuld you provide an email address to contact you at?

Thanks,

Ryan
