I'd like to get opinions on the comfort of a geothermal system in heating mode. Does anyone have any idea how or where to personally experience how comfortable a geothermal system is? Does anyone know if there is there a hotel in or around central Indiana that is heated by geothermal?
I'm convinced the geothermal heat pump would be the most cost effective in the long term. However, my only experience with a heat pump was in the 80s. It was an air heat pump in the New Jersey area. It seemed to never get warm to me even when the thermostat was set to 80. I'd hate to pay the price and not be comfortable.
Your observations and/or help to educate me on the comfort aspects would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bruce
