we are beginning a three storey 18 unit condo shortly and would like to find out how other installers are reinforcing blocks in between floors.for example they are installing 10 inch core slabs so 10 inches of the inside block has to be cut off then you run into connector problems.Any imput would be appreciated Thanks roch

Lately I have seen them just stopping the wall, installing the coreslab and starting again...leaving a huge thermal break to the outside.

But anytime we have done it, after you install the slabs you grout, order a load of regular mix concrete and pour about 3/4 (in your case 7-8") between the coreslab and the outside foam. Less pressure and less chance of the coreslab bulge
