Are there any Installation Pros/DIY'ers able to contribute information regarding Safety Issues that pertain specifically to ICF construction methods, such as trip and fall, overhead booms, general hazards in the workplace, head gear, fall arrest, safety railings, or other issues?
Concrete in general, is listed in State Workmans Comp manuals very high for premiums, etc. Is anyone participating in a general safety program, or has anyone attended a specific program that addresses these ICF workplace conditions?

OSEA is very comprehensive. The accidents I have seen or heard about on site are usually scaffold related and then to be fall related. Otherwise its usually misuse of tools, such as no gaurds on table saws. Scaffolding with proper platforms, railings and toekicks are very important, and I sometimes think that to many people are omitting them. As for safety ropes, I cannot answer. Hardhats, safety boots, full length pants, work gloves, safety glass's and full length shirts are a must during a pour. Especially for the man at the end of the hose. As for logistical problems, such as a pump operator dropping concrete on workers below, this should be common sense, however I believe it is covered by thier hoisting organization, although I am unclear on this.
