I'm deciding the siding option for a steel SIP home. I'd prefer something other than vinyl siding. I'm in a hot area so I'd also like to avoid metal siding. Are there any issues putting engineer wood lap siding on steel SIPS? What are the best practices for this, such as backing, type of screws, and anything additional I should make sure happens. Thanks!
