I am preparing my walls for the second pour. Unlike the first pour, I have window and door
openings to deal with. My question has to do with gluing the blocks between the braces on the window bucks. I have corner braces on the bucks, is there a need for continuous strapping all around the buck, or will gluing them with enerfoam hold the blocks (amvic) from bulging between the braces?
Thanks......Larry

Do Both, it certainly will not hurt if you have the time.

Also, ensure you strap, wire or tape your headers together horizontally, or they may seperate and try to move a bit on you. Also watch for slender corners at windows and doors in which the block may want to move outwards from the bucking, due to concrete placement pressure.

I know you did very well with your basement pour, good luck, although I feel very confident you will enjoy your upper story pour.
