I am interested in learning about solar energy, how it works, and how to install it. Can anyone suggest where to begin? My knowledge is limited to what I picked up working in an electrical supply warehouse. I know enough about that to get myself in trouble. Are there any websites that educate on how solar power systems work? Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

I've been researching web info on renewable energy for about 7 yrs. Try starting with this site: LINK, and on the upper right portion click Learning About Renewables, then click Renewable Energy Basics and pick Solar. This will open a page which also has links to more information. If you want to see alot of articles, research information, distributor web pages, manufacturers, etc., just type solar energy in your favorite search engine. But, I will warn you, there will be hundreds of thousands of links to sort through. If you want to narrow your search, type "solar energy research".
Have fun - enjoy! |

| Some larger book stores have magazines on this subject. |

Hi Lisa,
I took an online solar pv class and while it only offered the basics, it did help.
If you have any specific questions or would like a brief intro, send me a pm or email me at john@solarcynergy.com
Happy New Year everyone! |
