I would like to build an ICF shell for a house in Charlotte area. My intent is also to finsh the insides on my own, or hire in piecemeal work to save costs.

I want to build a 43x65ft two story, plus basement; Haven't totally decided on a brand of ICF, but something like BuildBlock or Amvic etc.

Any ballpark costs from experienced builders? I think this is the BEST place to pose this question and get unbiased answers. I said unbiased because here people from different areas come together like builders ICF installers ... 10:43:17 AM

There is some more info needed to get you a ball park. Wall heights on all storys, size of block 4",6",8" . Also dont know much about the building codes in N.C., concrete pricing. Do you have some sort of lay out and elevation of the plans. Chuck...

As chuck asked, do you have some plans to look at, or at least a good idea of how you want it built? I am a ICF builder in the Charlotte area and can help you get in touch with a build block distributer who helps with design if you would like.
