Trying to design an energy efficient house from the ground up with an architect and using ICF - geothermal - passive solar - and some PV if possible.

Because all that can get expensive I am trying to figure out where to trim costs and was going to use energy 10 sofware to help me do it.

Has anyone used this?  One person told me it was very complicated to use - but the website says its soooo darn easy to use.

It costs 325 bucks which could really be worth it since many of the above upgrades easily cost 5 -10 k each.

Anyone used this or any other energy software that can help get me started?

Thanks Todd
