I am using an ICF system to form my foundation walls and I was just wondering what evryone else is doing to attach window wells to the walls when finished.  I wanted to use concrete window wells which are quite heavy and I have a couple of ideas but thought I would check with some more experienced users here.  Any input is greatly appreciatted.

Thanks

For the stackable patio block we place them up against the waterproofed wall with a plastic sheet between them and the back fill, for all other bolt on type units we cut the foam out and install a treated plate against the concrete, waterproof and seal the wall and bolt the well to the wood plate with lag bolts.

We did use one brand that had large horizontal ribs that have not preformed well as the frost pushes them up and down cracking the screw flange, I preffer to use the ones with a smooth surface against the backfill, or the treated landscape timbers that we can log cabin stack.
