My house is on a hill and the ICF's are exposed from 8" to 3 feet.  My fiber cement siding has to be a minimum of 6" above the finish grade.  What have you seen used to cover and protect the foam above the grade but below the siding?  I was thinking of attaching Durock (cement board) and stone veneer over that but I'm afraid that a stone veneer protruding past the siding is asking for trouble.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

There is a product called B2000 Prep Coat which is an ICF parge which you mix up in a pail and trowel on with a fiber mesh which will harden and protect the ICF.
Go to some of the ICF web sites and you will be able to find some technical info about it.
Good luck

You may also look into Grailcoat. It not only provides a waterproof membrane, it will stick to the waterproofing below grade and provide a nice upgraded appearance over "grey concrete".

I'm planning on using either Tuff II or Flexcoat from Styro Industries. http://styro.net/FoundationandICFCoatings.html Main reason, either can be sprayed on and Flexcoat can be brushed on. Both can be troweled. I don't want to take a chance on the what my troweling job will look like since I've never applied stucco or plaster but am confident I can spray or brush. Columbia Paints is a national distributor though not every local store stocks it. Any store should be able to get it for you. They can even order a sample kit box for you. Worth checking out.
