I'm about to pour a concrete floor in the basement of my 1930s farm house (900 sq ft)
Should I bury a massive amount of 1/2" poly and use the coolness of the earth to cool my house?
Or is this about the dunbest post you've ever read?

I don't know what your ground temp is but I am guessing you would need about 10,000 feet of pipe buried below frost and spread out at least a foot between pipes to get cooling. Even then if you’re in a warmer climate it will probably warm up the ground and you will loose most of your cooling. It is better then nothing though.
