Hello! I was wondering if anyone makes modulating oil-fired boilers. I found lots for propane and natural gas, but not oil!

Thanks

With the current technology, no, there isn't anyone who offers a modulating oil fired boiler. Two stage burners are as far as we can go with fuel oil. A modulating oil burner, while possible, would be too complicated and costly for any benefit at all. This is probably the world's most advanced oil fired boiler and we can't get it here yet. http://www.viessmann.de/web/germany/com_publish.nsf/Content/Vitoplus300

Check out the propane fired Vitodens which is available here now. It's currently the state of the art in North America when it comes to gas fired equipment. http://climatecadvanced.com/products/Viessmann/viessmann.html

I eagerly anticipate the day when our fuel oil is as environmentally friendly as Europe's so I can offer the Vitoplus 300 to my clients.

Warm Regards,
