From the photos, it appears to me that the Viega Climate Panels require insulation to be installed under the floor. Is this correct?
I am considering using the Viega system or the Thermalboard product for a 2nd level install. I plan on using radiant as the sole heating solution for a new home construction (why burn air?). Would insulation be optional or required for either product?
Has anyone purchased or priced out the Viega system? Thermalboard? What is out there for pricing?
