I bought a taco sr503 zone controller off the internet. I had to purchase the relays separately. I am having trouble getting it to work. I can put it in reset mode and a two wire thermostat will generate a red light showing the zone is turned on but the 120 volt circulator is not energized. I have the ZC and ZR jumpered but there is no end switch. In normal mode all I get is the one green light showing the unit is working but no response (red light) when the thermostat calls for heat. The relays are all the same, 120volt coil Ice cube DPDT relays. Do I need different relays or is something to do with not having an end switch?

If you have not already tried I suggest you might want to pose this question on the following web site as there appears to be a greater interaction on HVAC and radiant questions similar to this.
The web site is www.hvac-talk.com
Hope this helps.
