I wonder if you installed your pex on top of roofing felt using the aluminum transfer plate and then did a ¾” mud job over that if you would have any problems down the road.

Do you mean 3/4" of gypcrete over just flat plates of aluminum or staple up aluminum plates set on top of the floor?
