Is there much of a difference between various Pex manufactures? I am asking because I am able to purchase 8000 feet of 1/2 inch oxy barrier pex made in Germany by Europex for $2600 with free shipping. When something is that good I usually question it. That is aroun $.32/ft. which is almost $.20 less than I can get it locally.

DO NOT BUY THE EUROPEX!!!!! I made the mistake and bought 2000 feet of the stuff, with O2 barrier because I thought I was getting a good deal. Just like you. That stuff is NOT flexible to any extent. If you're running straight runs it would be fine. If you want to buy mine I'll sell it at half the price!!!! I bought Mr. Pex w/ O2 barrier and absolutely love it. Extremely flexible stuff.
