I am building a stub wall (4 courses of ICF), and was wondering if it is feasible to pour the stub wall AND the footer at the same time?

What is your knowledge level of concrete? Pouring the footing and wall monolithically is probably the norm for most experienced concrete people. If you are experienced, then you are familiar with monostraps that can be used to space the footing form and hold the forms above the top of the footing.

Pay attention that your 4 courses of ICF does not "float" on you.

I do have a little experience with concrete but none with ICFs - where can I learn about these "Monostraps" and controlling "floating"??

By the way, is there any source for leftover or surplus ICF blocks. (probably just wishful thinking)

Also, I see people using slightly rusty rebar in footers all the time. Is this a problem?
