Hey all,
What is your favorite vibrator? Is the Oztec good? What is the best size? Motor? Head? Whip? Are cordless vibrators adequate?
I'm pouring my footings next Wednesday and stacking block starting Friday.
Thanks for your input, Joey |

I use a Mikasa, had it for 6 years now, used a Wacker before that, that one I didn't really like.
With the Mikasa I need to replace the cable every 18-24 months everything else works fine. I use a 1" head and a 2.2 hp motor
Don't know anything about Oztec...never tried one. Cordless vibrators have there place and it is not in an ICF wall for an entire house, first off the cable isn't long enough, secondly the battery is only good for 40-45 mins. I guess for the footing it is fine, but if you are buying a regular one for the walls then use it for the fooring as well. |

Thanks Chris,
Right now I have a Makita cordless 18v Li Ion, it has an 8' whip. I'm worried about batteries for a large pour and thought I might invest in a plug in. |

| Do yourself a big favor and make sure you have a nice slump in your concrete, 5" to 6". You try to get you workers to vibrate everywhere but some places get missed. If you have a your concrete flowing well through your forms, always keep a good eye on the pour, you con rest assured knowing that the crete should be consolidated well in the wall. |
