I am looking for a way to estimate the ICF costs (blocks, labor, and concrete) for our house design.  Even basic $/sqft estimates are helpful.  Rough estimate of savings for 2 story vs 1 story would be helpful.

Logix has an Excel spreadsheet based estimator that will figure quantities and labor hrs for block, rebar, bucking material, concrete, etc. but you need to enter unit costs.  http://www.logixicf.com/index.php?n=resources&o=estimating

Fox Block has a simple estimator for block and concrete http://www.foxblocks.com/calculator/

You can also search the ICF forum here for cost analyses of ICF construction.   Cheers  Dave

At the top of this page look for the Search button (small blue letters). I typed in, ICF construction costs, and found a list of past threads with quite a few discussions of costs. Give it a shot.

Very, very rough estimates....

ICF system ~4.00/ft, concrete 2.00/ft, steel 1.00/ft.  For materials alone I think 6.50-7.00/ft are very good estimating numbers.  Of course ft² are wall sq ft and not floor plan ft².
