I was hired to consult on an Blue Maxx house built in 1998 and 1999. I need an installation manual from that time period. Does anyone have one? |

Brad, I have a Blue Maxx installation manual from 1996. The pages are dated from 1994-1996. Let me know if it will help. 1994?? Geez, I'm getting old.

I might take you up on that, but because litigation is invlolved it would be better to have '98 -'99. |

I just did a quick search.....Are they now called ARXX?? If so, you might want to call them to see if they have this installation man. If they don't have the actual book they might have it stored on their computer or backup for their own 'CYA'.

Yes, Blue Maxx is now Arxx, however they have been unable to locate a manual. So I thought I would try here. |

I do still happen to have one kicking around- a bit dusty, but readable... If it helps, you can privately e-mail me with regards to the specific info you are looking for. Send to [email protected] -at the very least, I'll try to find what it is in the book for you... Take care ALL, C.Kerr |

The interesting thing is Arxx/Blue Maxx HAS the manual somewhere within their system.
The bad thing is don't count on Arxx to get involved with ANYTHING regarding a possible contractor installation dispute, because they are afraid of their own shadow!
PO'd......you bet!! When I helped an out-of-state client with an installation issue on their house, which was built by a "Certified" Arxx installer, they waffled around so much it made your head hurt. Understand this... it was never the product, it was the installer and Arxx didn't give a s.. as much as we wanted them to help with the dispute.
This situation was the same thing we ALL fought in the early days, work with a good installer and a company who stands by to help you, the end user.
Interestingly enough, through the legal system forces, the builder bought the crappy screwed up house and xx amount of land, and Arxx hid their head in the sand! They had every opportunity to help the situation, and they simply couldn't stand up to bat!
When I think back, having discussions with their legal people, asking how to protect them because we know its not a product issue, but asking for a little backgound muscle, and all the lip service bs we got I wonder if they're even still a good ICF manufacturer?? |

Unfortunately attorneys and frivolous lawsuits dictate way too much of how business is done.
Arxx was bought by the founders of Apex, a couple years ago, so maybe they will improve. |

I got the manual from Arxx, I know it required a lot of time on their part, so I say they have excellent customer service. |
