Hello, I have normal built-up roof which needs to be replaced soon, 3000 ft2. Can I do it with SIP's? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rush

Rush, I asked one fellow to reply but got no help. I'm not an expert in this area, but will venture a comment...

If you have a built-up roof, then you already have a structural roof system in place. If you were to use SIPs to replace the entire system, you would be paying for redundant structural value which you wouldn't need...unless that structural roof needed to be replaced as well. If you needed a modest upgrade or replacement, you might look at nailbase panels rather than full SIPs.

If I've missed something in your case here, please feel free to describe it further.
