i recently installed a coldflow 2 ton heat pump open loop system. the results are much less than expected.
i get a 10 degree diff: air in 70, air out 80. water temp in 56' f, water out 53'f at 6pm .
at 4 gpm dt increases to 5'f; compressor amps 4.5 regardless of flow(7.4 name plate rating); suction press 83 psi, head press 165psi, also regardless of flow. unit was built & set up in florida with 70'f water. i was assured the geothermal option was good for 45'f to 80'f. has not proved true. according to one formula i'm getting approx 8000 btu. total wattage of heat pump & water pump amounts to 9200 btu, i'm going in the hole!any ideas?

You might pose this question over at

. They have some knowledgeable people over there.
....jc<br>If you're not building with OSB SIPS(or ICF's), why are you building?

Did a certified installer install it? What does he say? Also, who sized the system?, Is the coldflow ARI certified? With the water temperatures you have, what are the capacities and COP's in the rating? What's the cfm of air? These probably aren't all the questions, but it's a start.
good luck
Oh, where are you located?
