Ona, i agree with Joe. Just like you, we have oil fired system with radiators and spent 33K (includes geo units, desuperheater, ductwork, replacing the ceiling at the basement, removing radiators, patching anything damaged including driveway where they drilled and new electrical load 200 amp). i think it's worth the cost not just lowering the utility bills but the advantages of of what a geothermal heating/cooling can offer. Keep us posted.

It looks as if you got a better deal on your geo system than I did since we pulled out all our radiators and old system.  Still no regrets as my geo contractor was great and I feel good about my system in general.

I will keep you updated on my electrical usage and system as I go.  Even though mine is installed, it is still good to read about what others are thinking and doing.
