Thanks for the link Looby.
Don't know if this site is only for USA or Canada or both but the unit that I was hoping to purchase is either not approved or missing from the list.
It lists Carrier approved units from size 26 to 64 and the unit I want is 72 (6 ton unit)

Carrier Corporation Carrier AQUAZONE Closed Loop 4.3 25.3 Any model starting with 50PT in sizes 026 to 064

I live in Canada so I will have to try to get some canadian government site to see if Carrier  6 ton  unit is approved for the rebate.
Thanks

EnergyStar.gov is US-only. Be aware that Carrier might market the
same unit with different model numbers in US versus Canada.

Found Canadian  site for Energy Star approved units

http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/residential/business/manufacturers/search/ground-source-heat-pumps-search.cfm

6 ton Carrier unit that I wanted for Closed loop is approved  in single stage but not in two stage.Called Energy Star Canada and asked for the reason why two stage unit is not approved. They say that Carrier never applied for approval.Called Carrier and their  answer is ,6 ton unit is considered commercial and they never applied for energy star approval for it.

Just wandering if I should go with one stage unit !
Is there any disadvantages using one stage unit and what are they.
Thanks
