I am building a 4000 sq. ft. house.  i would like input on billing results for the above two systems.  I can't find much on the york system in payback VS. tranquility27...any feed back would greatly appreciated.    robert

One is an air source heat pump and one is a water source "geothermal" heat pump. Operating costs are most often lower on the geothermal heat pumps if that's what you mean by "billing results". However, it's usually the old story of one costing more up front but being less expensive over the long run and vice versa. It can depend on your particular situation.
If you can find an HVAC company that installs both types of units they should be able to properly size it for your house and location and give you a breakdown on your choices in terms of installation cost versus operating and long-term costs and comfort, etc.

In a new built home, geo qualifies for a 30% tax credit, the other system does not.
I do comprehensive operation v install cost breakdowns for my customers. Contractors in your area undoubtably would do the same.
If the numbers work for one more than the other......
Different climates offer returns on money spent.
