I have had a ice dam cause water to leak into one of my bedrooms, will the geo pull the water out of the carpet and the air as well as a stand alone air condensor ? i have most of the water cleaned up but its damp.

This time of year interior humidity levels are so low that conventional dehumidifiers have limited effect. They don't remove much water if RH < 40%.

No heating system, geo or otherwise, reduces absolute humidity. Nearly all (with the possible exception of unvented gas heaters) reduce relative humidity simply by virtue of warming the air.

Your best bet to dry a room this time of year may be to slightly open its windows, operate normal heating equipment, though perhaps at a slightly elevated temperature setpoint and circulate air around the room and out any available interior doors using portable fans.

You may also consider renting a commercial de humi if your saturation is really high.

Agreed

Measure humidity before making the call. If it is 50% or less, a conventional dehu will have limited effect.

fortunately i caught the leak before it got the floor saturated (dumb luck) I think we will be ok this time, michigan winters are not
known to be friendly to roofs, at least my geo seems to be working well even when temps get down to -4 or less. thanks for your comments...
