Hello and thanks for reading! I have three ClimateMaster T27 units. Yesterday one stopped putting out heat. The other two are fine. More info: No codes are showing or in memory Swapped out the thermostat with another known working unit When normal, aux or emergency heat is called for, the coils do not become warm. Reset, check filters, check board for damage, etc - nothing obvious. Would appreciate any other ideas to check. I will have someone out mid-week. Sadly it's the main floor that is without heat but we are OK and the pipes won't freeze so it's not the end of the world. Thanks again for reading!

Not much to go on. Will the fan run? Open or closed loop? Is there 230v to unit?..............................

Thanks for the reply!
The fan runs great. The system is closed loop. Power to the unit seems to be correct. If I let the system run I can get temps at the registers that are +2 degs above ambient but when I check the coils it is hard to tell if they are warm or not. If I check another units they are clearly warm.
The thermostat seem to be attempting to run as normal - IE aux won't stay on.

you should get 15 to 30 degrees F between return air and leaving air temp.
if there are no fault codes then I would have to guess signal problem. I would start by looking for 24v at Y1 and C.

No codes are showing or in memory
Where and how did you check this?
Homeowner with WF Envision NDV038 (packaged) & NDZ026 (split), one 3000' 4 pipe closed horizontal ground loop, Prestige thermostats, desuperheaters, 85 gal. Marathon.

geome: The LED flashes code one which should be no fault in memory (by putting it in to test mode)
joe.ami: Any tips to ensure I am reading voltage at those connections correctly? While I was in there I noticed that about every 30 seconds I would hear a "small surge" almost like something was trying to start. Compressor etc? This was with the thermostat set with system on heat.
Getting close to the limit of my expertise here. I appreciate all the help!
Thanks again

Yes, based on your last question I think we are at the limit of your experience. With harm to be caused to you or the equipment I'd let it go til the tech arrives. Sounds like a capacitor or compressor problem are possible so I would turn stat to em. heat and wait til "mid-week".

Joe.ami: You were spot on, it was the cap. This is my third cap in this unit. The first one didn't actually die but I saw it leak and replaced it. This one was actually dead. Back in business. Thanks for your help!
