I am curious as to what builders and people in the industry are feeling as a result of all the negaitve mortage hype right now. I know we have suffered from flood conditions all summer. And just when I though that the tourists would return, the market seems to be imploding. I am hoping our baby boom retirees will keep coming but I am afraid they are dependent on first selling their homes in areas where there has been a bigger hit.

The good news is that it keeps people looking at houses and values. This will no doubt help those building right in  the long run. In the short run I need to sell a spec on the golf course just off constant level Lake LBJ in Texas if you know anyone that wants to be cozy and enjoy their retirement in the hill counrty of Texas. We have been called the Texas riviera.
