I was reading some earlier posts about desuperheaters.  I have one on my geothermal system and am having a hard time finding a qualified person to ensure that it is hook up right and operating correctly.  The system is a hybrid do it yourself system installed by a local HVAC company, the units are waterfurnace.  Any reccomendations - I am located in Southwest Virginia.

a hybrid do it yourself system...
Are you talking about your hot water system or the desuperheater itself?

Did you have it built to any particular specifications? Keep ALL of your water hot some of the time? Keep SOME of your water hot all of the time?

Without specifications it might be difficult for anyone to determine if it is "operating correctly".

You also might want to consider putting this down in the "Geothermal Heat Pump" section where it might get more attention.

you might go to the geo section and "search" desuperheater questions.
