Long time reader, first time poster. Finally getting basement spray foamed with closed cell this week! Question i have is above sill plate is kraft faced R-13. Should this be removed before foaming or just foam over top of it in rim joist area?? If i leave it , Will there be any moister issues with the faced insulation meeting CC sprayfoam? Thanks

absolutely remove it! the spray foam should be in direct contact with wood & concrete.

What Bob said- the superior air-seal alone you get with cc foam against wood is worth it, even though the foam would still stick OK to the kraft paper.
