The shed has a 3/4" plywood floor and 2x4 onstruction. The outside is hardiboard, and the underside of the floor is not reasonably accessible.
The walls have R-13 batts, not enclosed. I can easily peel the kraft, or flip the direction of the kraft.
It's in North Central Texas. Extreme hot and humid, but it also gets cold. I want to condition the space when I'm using it.
I'm considering 1 1/2" foam in the floor with another layer of board on top. Walls with the fiberglass batts left in, and 1 1/2" RMax radiant board over the studs. 3" RMax sheets over the gambrel.
Is there a cheaper way? Is this dumb overkill for a shed? |
